Error message "An item with the same key has already been added" as soon as I merged two segments

Hello!

I started working on a project this morning, which seemed to be going fine until i merged two segment. Now i'm unable to confirm the segment with the new translation. I'd already confirmed one of the segments that I merged.

Is there a way around this? Thanks!

  • Hi ,

First please make sure you have the correct version of MultiTerm installed for your version of Studio. So these:

    SDL Trados Studio 2015 SR3 - 12.3.5281.10
    SDL MultiTerm 2015 SR2 - 12.2.1657.4

If you have these then can you reset the products and try again. Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to):

    c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\12.0.0.0

Also, rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to):

    c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm12

    Then restart the products.
