Termbase import issue: "Value cannot be null. Parameter: key"

Question

Hi there, 
 The translation agency I work for sends me an .mdb file to use as a termbase. However, when I try to import it as a file-based termbase in Trados Studio 2017 it won't work and I get the following error message: 
 "Value cannot be null Parameter: key" 
 Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I think the solution might have been to just open it in MultiTerm first because this will upgrade the older termbase. Then if you restart Studio you should be able to use it. Once you've done this you may also be able to change the extension to .sdltb for completeness.
