In a source text, the font is unintelligible gibberish. I'm guessing this is due to a conversion of a font issue. Anyone know how to turn it into legible copy? See screenshot enclosed. Thanks

  • Hi ,

This is clearly an encoding issue. You'll need to deal with this in the source document before you open it in Studio. What is the filetype?

You might find this article useful in the meantime:

  • Would you please go to "File -> Options - > Editor" and change the setting to "show only tags, but do not show formatting?
Studio's default setting is WYSIYWG and it relies on font substitution (I never understood why do we need anything like WYSIWYG in a CAT...) and this brings really bad results...
