Anybody good with excel? Looking to split a single sheet into several sheets/workbooks for easier alignment.

Hello, 
 I have a pair of 16 page excel files that I want to align but due to their length, they're extremely laggy in the align view. The pages are manually split in this way and I'd like to break them up into different files and align the multiple files. I've downloaded Kutools for excel but I get an error when I try to split a sheet.

Perhaps you can do it using a Macro? This site has a few suggested solutions and if you have different criteria perhaps they could offer something suitable to help you?

Thank you. Though your particular link didn't lead me to my answer, it gave me ideas on how to properly refine my google search. Resulted in using this gem to split one sheet into multiple sheets at the horizontal breaks:
