  • Hi ,

Like any new software there is a learning curve and how fast you go is up to you. At a basic level you can be translating a file in 10 minutes, but it always helps to learn a little more about the software in the early days.

The best way to get help is to ask the question in this community (http://xl8.one) as there are always people, with experience, who help others with their questions. Many also offer training.

We also have many youtube videos on the SDL Trados youtube channel - www.youtube.com/.../sdltrados , and you have help guides installed with the product which you can find in the Welcome View.

Finally you can use this link - www.sdl.com/.../sdl-trados.html - where you can find many options or training including an elearning course which is very good for complete beginners. But most of all I would recommend the community as this is the best way to learn. You can read what others are doing and learn from that, and you can ask any question you like. It's a friendly place and you'll get plenty of help.

    Regards

    Paul
