If you have your Studio configured to update TM after confirming a segment AND you work with server-based TM AND the Internet connection to that server is slow for any reason (either the connection itself, or the connection is slowed down by e.g. your antimalware application, etc.), then this could be the cause.

As far as I know,  a firewall would block the connection altogether, not slow it down. Or am I not understanding what you mean?

Hi  I'm afraid that won't work at the moment as there is a bug, LTB-900, where custom shortcuts don't work at all.  Do you have delays if you don't work with the preview at all?  Also which preview method are you trying to use?
