Questions about alignment functionality in Studio 2017

Hi!  I am working on my very first alignment assignment where clients sent me around 20 aligned .sdlalign files and wanted me to verify and import the results to an empty TM.  During this process, two questions came up:

1.One of the files has 15 source segments, but on the target side in the alignment result screen, segment #15 is greyed out which makes source and target misaligned from segment 10 (segments 10 and 11 in the source were combined to segment 10 in target).  How can I enable segment 15 on the target side?

2. Is there a quick way to import all of the verified sdlalign files to the empty TM?  The Import into Translation Memory Tasks feature only seems to import one at a time.

Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions.

Segment 15 seems to be empty which suggests the problem is one of segmentation in the target file.  There is no easy way to do this in the Studio because the alignment tool won't allow you to split segments.  You could try working with WinAlign if you need more editing features... you can still use this in Studio as described in this article (at the end):

Yes.  Finish all your alignments and then just import the sdlalign files using the normal Import to TM option and not the one in the Alignment View.
