Help! Trados 2017 SP1 Backward Compatibility Issue with 2009 SP3

Question

I received the .sdlrpx file from the client, for proofreading. After I unzipped it with 7zip, I tried to open the .sdlproj file and ... surprise! It was created with an earlier version of Trados 2009, SP3. See the error below! 
 
 I need urgent help, if someone could open that file with 2009, and then with 2017, and send me the 2017 SP1 project back! 
 Thank you so much. I know it's weekend, and I must deliver by Monday morning.

Hi Mihaela

When you unzip the package you should see the sdlxliff files inside. Have you tried just double-clicking on them to open them in Trados Studio?
When you are finished, you can just return the sdlxliff files back to the client.

Also, I'm wondering why you have a .sdlrpx file. This is a return package which you usually use to return to the client. Project packages should have a .sdlppx extension.
