Hi,
When I start a new single file project (whether my own or from a client) I always get a message saying no TM to update when I try to update the project memory, even after I've created a TM for that specific project. Usually the message is "Couldn't find any project TMs for this language pair (DE>EN UK). Why is this? How do I solve it?

A Project TM is a TM automatically created by Studio when you create your project and used the batch task "Prepare" rather than "Prepare without Project TM". It contains a subset of your Main TM based on the Project Settings you used for your Project.
If you just created a TM for this project and added it in your settings then this is not what Studio refers to as a Project TM. If you want to update your TM in this scenario then use Update Main Translation memories.
