Multiterm misbehaves (a lot)

Question

Hi, I am experiencing a whole stack of problems with Multiterm lately, the most important being this one: I sometimes cannot edit/delete terms, the programs (Studio + Multiterm) crash and yesterday, I even got a Windows blue screen because of it. Both pieces of software are up-to-date, I use only the "flag layout" since I know that the default one can create problems. Attached a screenshot of a typical error I get. 
 Here I am trying to delete the double entry (I had to create a new entry, because merging triggers an error "an element with the same key already exists"). 
 Multiterm searches for terms in the database, in vain.

I think you need to first make sure you have the latest versions of both tools on your computer: 
 
SDL Trados Studio 2017 SR1 - 14.1.6329.7 
SDL MultiTerm 2017 SR1 - 14.1.2471.5 
 
If you do, and if the problem is related to this bug then this may be your only option until it's been resolved. You could log a case and report it if you think the problem is related to something else? For licensing or installation issues that prevent you from working we have a route for all customers to get help. This can be achieved really quickly using this link:

You have two options: 
 
1. Submit a case using a webform 
2. Use live chat to get a licence reset
