Installed the 30-day trial of SDL Trados Studio 2017 with SR1 and am unable to work with any packages. The program shows the contents of .sdlppx files correctly in the Open Package window, but when attempting to import gives the error message "Input string was not in a correct format". Details show: "Exception of type LanguagePlatformException occurred". The Project files are Finnish to English(UK), and I have set up the appropriate language pair.

Tried renaming the AppData/Local/SDL and AppData/Roaming/SDL folders and restarted the program to recreate them, as suggested in another thread. No help.

Windows 10 in Finnish running under Parallels Desktop on a Mac.

And may I just say that whatever the cause may be, this is not acceptable. A trial version should run straight out of the box with no fiddling.
