There has been so much going on over the weeks thats it is hard to pinpoint the issue but I will try to give an overview and see if you can help us.
I spoke to Paul here in the forum recently about our input models not working when entering terms via Studio and he told me about the cumulative update, but unfortunately that didn't seem to work. Following that, we decided to re-create our termbase and load the info. from the old termbase but then we got the message "This termbase cannot be opened because it has been created with an unsupported version of MultiTerm" although we re-created it with the latest version. Since then, we get the message "general error occurred" when trying to connect to our termbase (new MT version) from Studio. When we try to load the old termbase (we are trying everything as we are desperate), I get the message "loading termbases" but they never load. I have tried the same with a version I have on my desktop.
I also mentioned to Paul that I share the main TM with a colleague, so perhaps this has been adding to our problems. From now on, we are going to try to work separately and see if that eases some issues. We often work via an F drive...could that be an issue too? In any case, the no connection to termbase seems to be as if something is not working between Studio and MultiTerm. I can open the old termbases directly in Multiterm but not he newly created one. Mindboggling.
Now I'm not sure if this could be useful, but muy colleague is working with Windows 10 now and I am still on Windows7 (IT department is to upgrade me) and we have another colleague who is also on W7 but she does nto share the same TM, however she does a lot of maintenance in our termbase.
Any assistance would be appreciated...we are tearing our hair out.
