Problem with opening Excel files generated by Studio 2017 after MS Excel update

Question

Hi everybody experiencing problems with target Excel Files generated by Studio after the latest update of MS Excel? 
 I receive a note if I want to try to recover the file but then it says that the file format or extension is unvalid. Check if the file is damaged... 
 I could open these files till this morning but after the MS update they suddenly won't open any more. 
 Anybody experiencing the same?

Hi Jan Hinrichs , Can you tell us what version of Excel and which update perhaps? I haven't come across this before but if I know which version of Excel I can do some investigation.
