Freehand files in Trados?

Hi!

Is there a way to translate Freehand files?

Best regards

  • Hi Miriam, and ,

Until you posted this Miriam I had been under the impression Burim meant hand written and I didn't know there used to be an application from Adobe that created these filetypes (now discontinued). Many apologies Burim... you should have told me when I gave you a silly response.

I think the best approach might be to create a regex based filetype for them as they are apparently vector based and you can open in a text editor. However, I have never seen one of these so I don't know for sure. If you want to send me a couple of sample files I'd be happy to take a look? You can send them to pfilkin@sdl.com

    Regards
