The only way to do this is if there are already tags in the source that control the colour of the font. These can be anywhere in the file and you can use them. It's a bit of a pain if the document is large as you would need to keep looking for the tags, but that would work. I have seen people insert a coloured text at the top of every page before when they need this a lot. Then they refer back to these tags and remove the "samples" from the target file afterwards.

If your source text in Word, Excel, InDesign or similar is colored, then you will see these colors in Studio. Is your text just black, Studio will show it in black. And there is NO WAY to make Studio show words in a not colored sentence from Word or Excel with some color for bold for example. 
 So if your sentence has a bold word like this one, so Studio will show it like you see it here. If you wish the word bold to appear in red , you have to format it that way in Word/Excel. But you cannot have Studio to show the word bold as bold .
