"Searching" even with LookAhead enabled

Question

Hi all, 
 Since attending the SDL Roadshow a couple of weeks ago I've LookAhead but I am still seeing the dreaded "searching" in the results window, often for minutes at a time. I'm wondering what could be causing this and also if LookAhead can be optimised in any way?

What sort of resources are you using? If you are using external resources such as machine translation then your internet connectivity could impact this. Or maybe your security software is slowing things down? Try deactivating your antivirus for a short while and see if this makes a difference.
