Can I upgrade a project from Trados Studio 2015 to Studio 2017 mid-project? I started translating a number of files in a Trados project using Studio 2015, but I am wondering if I can upgrade to SDL 2017 to complete the rest of the files.

Hi David Rumsey
It is recommended that you DO NOT move a project from one version to another as the project could be come corrupted.
However there is nothing stopping you installing Studio 2017 alongside Studio 2015- then completing ongoing projects in 2015 and starting new projects in Studio 2017.
The following article explains how you can do this-

Hi David Rumsey
The advice from Steve is good in that it generally makes sense to finish off the project you started with the version it was started. However, if you really want to you can move them, and there is even an app to help you if you wish:
