QA report

Question

I have just installed Trados Studio 2017. How can I generate a QA report and save it in excel format?

 There are a number of ways to run the QA- 
 I suspect if you are trying to export them to Excel I suspect you are using the Verify tab under EDITOR/REVIEW. 
 However if you are trying to export to Excel-- you need a slightly different route. 
 
 Staying in the Editor view- Home- Batch Tasks- Verify Files (follow through on the process)- then highlight the files (1) followed by Results (2) Reports (3) Save As....

You then have the option of exporting to HTML and EXCEL (most widely chosen formats.

Please see my answer above on how to generate various reports. (via Editor/BatchTasks). 
 
Unfortunately however, as you have use Studio Freelance version, you are not able to to use the TQA report feature as this is a functionality only available in the Professional versions.

There are three Studio versions available- Starter/Freelance and Professional. 
 
TQA is only available in the 'Professional' version and NOT in Freelance or Starter version i'm afraid.
