TRADOS STUDIO 2017 SR1 does not open. It gets stuck at "Loading files view..." if Word is not open. If Word is open, it gets stuck at "Loading Editor view". In both cases the problem is that when I run Studio, various instances of WINWORD.EXE (anywhere from 2 to 5) get activated and appear in the Task Manager. I have to close all those instances, or all but one, and only then will Studio complete the opening process. This is very annoying and time consuming. I checked with my Trados reseller and he told me he was having the same problem but when he installed the last update, it was fixed. Unfortunately, I am up-to-date on all the updates, and I have the problem anyway. I have repaired MSOFFICE and also Trados Studio, but that didn't help.
