Settings for xliff 1.2

Question

Hello to everybody, 
 we use Studio 2017 and are trying to work with xliff 1.2 files from a wordpress homepage. 
 After checking in the files we have found things like this : [vc_row full_width="true" el_class="topimage" margin_top="0" margin_bottom="0" ..... 
 shown as translatable content. 
 Does anyone know how to tag this content so that the source code doesn't show up as translatable text? 
 We haven't been able to mark it as non-translatable in the setting for xliff 1.2. Any help would be much appreciated!

The short answer is "you cannot"... All this marking is expected to be done during creation of the XLIFF file... in other words, the creator of the XLIFF file has to set up th eparsing and tagging rules properly, so that the XLIFF file then contains only the translatable text, with possible non-translatable inline content already properly 'locked'. There is no reasonable way to do this "ex post". 
 EDIT: You can try to fiddle with the " Cleanup Tasks " plugin. But this is only a workaround and the correct way is as stated above.
