Navigating Support and Community bases

I am a new SDL Trados user (Studio 2017) and a new user in this Community as well. 

I am finding it very hard and frustrating to navigate through the myriad of pages and forums, with no ability to simply go back on the previous page.

It seems that every time I find something, I have to close the window and start the whole process over again to find another topic, or rephrase my questions. I am not very lucky: I type very simple questions, like how to delete a single file, or how to find the word count on a single file (items that are not mentioned in the Getting Started guide) and nothing comes up to answer these very simple questions.

I realize most users are experienced and might not even realize anymore how complicated the whole support structure is for a newbie. I might be relatively new in the translation world, but my previous career was in system information and technical writing, so I am not totally inexperienced when it comes to navigating through systems and pages of procedures. And I am very surprised to see that there is no back button on any of the support pages. 

Any guidance on how to best use the support and find answers is very much appreciated.
