HELP ! Cannot save my translated file and produce my file to send to the customer

I am working on a single file for the first time.

I thought I had correctly set it up but maybe I missed a step. So now that the work has been completed, I am unable to finalize the file and generate my Excel file with the translation. I have nearly 2,000 segments and I cannot copy them by hand in Excel.

This is due tomorrow and I am freaking out - I get an error message in French so I do not know how to find it in the Knowledge Base.

Can someone help me figure this out and salvage my project ?

    It's hard to know without being able to identify what caused the error itself. There might be some information that's useful in the error stack and you can provide that by clicking on the disc symbol when your error appears and saving the file to your desktop. Then attach the XML file that you saved to your post. The forum will render the text easily readable and there might be some information in there that points to the source of the error.

    One fairly common reason is leaving Studio running overnight when your antivirus is at work or some other cleanup software as part of your computer maintenance. These types of software can delete the temporary files that studio is using and because you still have Studio running it doesn't like it.
