Clicking the "Batch Task" button in Editor View ribbon (Studio 2017 SR1) always saves the file -- even when no changes have been made to the file.
I have Dragon commands that use the "Batch Task" function, and when I am editing a large file the commands can fail due to the unexpectedly long time it takes to save the file.
(I am assuming this is not just a bug in my Studio installation. Please let me know if it is ...)
The long wait time will probably also affect AutoHotKey commands that use the "Batch Task" function in the Editor View ribbon.
I am sure it would be easy to modify the Studio code to first check whether any changes have been made to the file before performing a save.
When editing a large file, I could then simply save the file myself before running the Dragon command to avoid the long wait time.
