TM is not updated in Trados Studio 2017

Question

Good morning! I have the following problem - I am using Tradosa 2017 and during translation I enter the approved segments into the Translation Memory. I uninstalled SR1 to Trados 2017 and installed it SDLTradosStudio2017_5746, but it still does not expand my translation memory. Do you have any ideas how to solve this?

 My apologies if I am asking to much of a basic question- 
 but have you made sure you have the TM's set to update? and that the TM (s) selected have the correct language pair?

If all the above is correct- how are you adding the segments to the TM?- The default key combination is CTRL+ENTER 
 Do you see the following after confirming each segment?

 Another possible reason why the TM is not updated would be that the box highlighted here is not ticked... 
 
 Via File > Options > Editor > Automation > After Confirming Segments Manually > Update translation memory
