Generating TQA report: value cannot be null

Question

Dear all, 
 When I try to generate a TQA report I get an error message. 
 
 Maybe you know what could the reason for that be and how can I fix it?

My version is SDL Trados Studio 2017 Professional. 
I already solved the problem. 
Here is my story, just in case anybody faces the same issue. 
In my case the problem was caused by "overlapping" translation errors (e. g. semantic mistake and typo within it). They were hard to find among several hundreds of errors, so I tried to do my report manually. I accepted all changes and copied all corrected segments to my report table. Then as I pressed "Undo" to keep my corrections visible in the SDL Project, "Add Quality Assessment Item" windows began to appear. And these windows belonged right to that unfortunate segments with overlapping errors. So I selected the Category and the Severity again just to close these windows and noted the segment numbers. Then I rejected all changes in these segments, corrected it without overlapping and the report was generated successfully.

 I don't know the reason for this but it would be helpful if you shared the whole message. 
 
 This way we can see what version of Studio you use and we get the full details behind the error which may be helpful.
