SDL studio 2017 SR1 14.1.6413.8 - "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation"

Question

I've been using SDL Studio 2017 for almost a year now (I think), and have updated to the SR1 today. 
 Problems started when I wanted to open XLSX files : the files open fine, but I get the above mentioned error message. 
 The full message is obviously related to Microsoft.ApplicationInsights 
 
 I'm about to start a large project with big excel files, and having this kind of error message at the start does make me nervous. 
 
 I've disabled the Foxit add-in (as seen in another message), but it did not change anything. to be on the safe side, I disabled my Antidote plug-ins as well... 
 I've tried to add a "secure/trust" saving location for my excel file (as seen in another post https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0030461 
 
 Can anybody help me? thank you.

Hello Isabelle, 
This error is unrelated to file handling, so as long as you can roundtrip your XSLX files, you should be OK. Obviously, the error message is still concerning, so I have forwarded it internally for us to investigate. But it's happening in a 'harmless' area (it's related to our customer experience improvement program - you can opt in and out of that program on the Help tab - see Help - Customer Feedback. Maybe that might be an idea to see if this goes away if you opt out). Thanks, Daniel

Hi Isabella, You could convert that Excel to a MultiTerm termbase using the Glossary Converter app on our store at appstore.sdl.com/.../. I am tagging Paul to see if we can investigate the Excel provider error message (which also uses a similar customer experience program/usage tracking). Thanks, Daniel
