Enable/disable segmentation rules?

Question

Is there a way of enabling/disabling segmentation rules? If often get projects which have long keywords lists, either separated by commas or semicolons so I usually apply a segmentation rule to avoid endless replication e.g. 
 file,files,open,opening 
 file,files,close,closing 
 but obviously I don't normally want segmentation at a comma. At the moment I have to create a rule and then afterwards delete it as there seems no way of just disabling a rule without actually deleting it. 
 Is there a way of enabling/disabling these? If not, maybe there should be such an option.

Hi Michael, 
the segmentation rules that are used by studio are always the settings of the first TM in your TM list. This means, you can create an empty TM with these special rules and set it as first TM when you need it. 
If you use templates to create project, set this special empty TM at the bottom of your list and move it to the first place when you need it. 
This way you can also manage many sets of segmentation rules.
