Changing the segment status to Draft after Search&Replace?

Hi there, 
 I need to make a spelling change and I wanted to do it using the Search& Replace function as I would do elsewhere. However, I just noticed that this function does not change the status of the segments that it touches back to "draft" but the segements remain translated - which means that I cannot find the segments afterwards to update the TM accordlingly and any further translation fuzzys or TM hits will use the wrong target text because the TM is not up to date. 
 Is there any option where I can define the status of segments that habe been changed with S&R? Can anyone explain to me the logic behind this? I'm confused... :-)

 I have tried to replicate exactly what you are doing- but each time I use search and replace- the segment changes from Confirmed to Draft (which is of course the expected behavior- thus allowing you to do another filter on draft then updating your TM accordingly 
 Therefore I suggest one of two (or both) of the following 'remedies' - 
 1) Go to View Tab- and Reset Window layout 
 or 
 2) Close down Studio and then restart. 
 
 These solutions often repair mysterious behavior that cant always be explained
