SDL Trados 2014 won't start

Hello,

I wonder if anyone can help me resolve the issue I am having with Trados. Every time I try to open up Trados (version 2014), the following error message appears: Trados error: "You can't open the application "SDL Trados Studio" because it is not responding"

Yesterday I was using Trados and it was working fine. This morning, my startup disk was full so I began deleting some documents to make more space available as on previous occasions, Trados did not open up due to there not being enough space available. However, this is not the problem now as I have made enough space available.

I use Trados 2014 in Parallels on my Mac.

If anyone can offer any help, I would really appreciate it.

I'd try reinstalling Studio or running a repair through the windows control panel. If that doesn't help then try a reset. Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio: 
 
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\11.0.0.0 
 
So the path would become this: 
 
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\11.0.0.0_old 
 
If you can't find this folder then you need to unhide your hidden files/folders: 
 
 www.howtogeek.com/.../

Trados Studio > 1. Trados Studio
