After attempting to confirm 8 reviewed Segments at once, Studio gets unresponsive for 10 minutes.

Question

Hi all, 
 I am reviewing a document containing 16k words. It seems to be a problem in Studio 2017 confirm several segments at once. After selecting these 8 segments, right-click and select "Confirm and move to next unconfirmed segment", Studio gets unresponsive for 10-15 minutes.

I was wondering if anyone has got similar problems and if there is a workaround.

I've never really tried this sort of thing before, but testing on some large files I not having any problem and don't get any lags. I do note from your screenshot that you have opened several files in one go and have selected the content of one file (at least this is what it looks like) so I wonder if this is related. Do you get this problem with any file in Studio?

Hi Jan Reitsma , perhaps it's due to working on the server with this approach. Perhaps you can take a different approach? 
 
- instead of confirming just change the status by selecting the segments properly and not just the text 
- at the end of the job run a batch task to update the TM
