Adaptive feature is not working

Question

In spite of upgrading to Studio 2017 and implementing the AdaptiveTM side of things, I have just translated 22,000 words and have had to write in 'Articles of Association' nearly every time it appeared (to replace 'Statute' which was automatically translated. Why hasn't the Adaptive feature learnt this? Also, although I have 'Articles of Association' in my termbase and have used it successfully many times, this time it did not pick up the term. This is infuriating. Does anyone know what could be happening here?

The first point is that AdaptiveMT is not a TM, so changes don't always occur automatically like that, sometimes it can take a while before the engine sees this is a the way this should be translated consistently. It may not seem like it now but this is a good thing as it prevents the MT engine from changing to produce even more spurious results. 
 
The second point is that it would be useful if you explained the steps you followed in setting up your AdaptiveMT engine just in case you missed something... I'm sure you didn't but you never know! 
 
The final point is that you can use a custom dictionary with AdaptiveMT and this would have replaced "Statute" with "Article of Association" from the word go if you had this in your dictionary. Also worth noting that the Glossary Converter was updated over Christmas and now incorporates a conversion to LanguageCloud dictionaries to make it even easier for you to manage.
