Cannot process IDML file in Studio 2015

Question

I have an issue with 1 IDML file. The client sent me 2 IDML files and one of them is processed beautifully by Studio 2015 but the other hangs at analysis at 95%. The file's size is 1 MB (but I procecessed similar IDML files before without any issues). I first thought the analysis takes some time so I left Studio running all night but came back to the same progress in the morning. There were no error reports, just hanged process. And Studio could only be closed through Task Manager. I asked the client to resave the file from InDesign and resend but this did not help. 
 Maybe someone has any ideas on how to proceed? Or maybe advice on what else can be done by the client in InDesign to solve this?

 Did the client export the InDesign to IDML without its pictures and other non-text content? If not, that would be good. It is a long time since I used InDesign but I seem to recall that there were different options of export to IDML. I may be thinking of the older versions with export to INX. I do recall that we sometimes had to create a second copy, remove all images and icons and other non text content before files would process to INX but IDML should be more stable these days.
