Font Adaptation and Typing Bengali

Question

I just downloaded trial version of 2017 Trados Studio. I intend to purchase it hence I tried to familiarize myself with it. I'm trying to translate in Bengali. I use Avro keyboard for Bengali typing but it seems that the keyboard isn't compatible with Trados. Any idea which phonetic Bengali keyboard might be compatible with the software? Also, I'm trying to change font adaptation into Bengali, Kalpurush, but it just doesn't work, the font is automatically being reverted back to Afar, default. How do I change that?

Apologies you don't have an answer on this yet. Seems we don't have many experienced Bengali translators here. I can't help with the keyboard recommendation but I can help with the font adaptation. I think you are just explaining how you see Afar again each time you go into the settings. This is because Afar is the first in the list. You can change the font for every language in Studio if you like, but the display always starts with Afar. If you go into Bengali and check the font you should see the one you set is still there.
