Variable at the beginning of sentence not recognized

Hi there,

I searched for similar issues but couldn't find any that describe my problem. Sorry, if I missed something.

Here's my problem: A customer uses variables (e.g. <keyword keyref="product-name"/>), and if a sentence starts with such a variable Studio ignores it and only shows the text that follows. Example: <keyword keyref="product-name"/>-Konfigurationsdaten -> Studio: -Konfigurationsdaten.

Of course, this variable needs to be moved around in many target languages. I don't know how to solve this problem and would be thankful for any advice.

Hi Heike Lemanzyk 
 Assuming you made variables inline, the default behavior is "May exclude" (meaning inline tag will be excluded if it is at the beginning or end of a segment). 
 "Include with Text" is what you need. You would want to click on "Advanced..." and choose the appropriate option for "Segmentation hint" option. I hope this helps.
