TM in a package

Hello,

i received a package with a project TM included, but in the settings, this TM is displayed on 2 lines, and the 'enabled' checkbox is unchecked. impossible for me to check this box, I have to remove the tm and re-attach manually the project TM using the button 'add/any file TM' and finding the .sdltm provided in the project folder.

Do you know what is causing this ? Is there a specific setting while creating the package that need to be changed ? i looked into the original project on the computer used  to create the package and the tm is not split on 2 lines and it is correctly enabled. so something went wrong  during the creation of the sdlppx.

Best,

Xavier

  • That's pretty normal, it's a "project TM"... The one on the first line is Main TM and the second one is the Project TM derived from the main one (hence the indentation and the connection line showing the "master-slave relation".
Since you have access to the machine/project where the package was created, the easiest way is to start creating another package and check the package creation option page, right before actually starting the package creation itself - the options are remembered, so you should see which settings were used. I guess the project TM settings was "Create new Project TM"...
