I can't even begin my alignment because I instantly get the following error message: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

Question

I try to add a server-based TM, and I get this message. I choose both files and click "finish" and I get the error message. I have tried shutting down and opening up Trados again, and it didn't help. 
 Can anyone help out here? Thanks in advance!

Hello Ana-Loredana, the Workaround 2 (removing the TM from the list) did the trick! I can't believe it was such a simple fix. But I would never have figured it out without your tip and the article. Thanks so much! My alignment is now complete and looking good.
