I have SDL Studio 2017 and I need to create log files in English instead of Italian as the ones in Italian I generate are incompatible with Translation Office 3000 3D for quote creation. Please could someone help me? I have looked through the settings but I don't need to change my source and target languages, but rather the actual program language...

Here's where you change the user interface language:
Then you press the little 'down' arrow to select your language:
As you see above, you need to restart Studio for the UI language to change.
