I've just upgraded to Studio 2017 but the font size is too small for me when translating and causing me to squint. How can I increase this?

You have to set up the font size in the options (file-options-editor) as shown here below

You can either do as Martha suggested, or you can use these little arrows on the right hand side of the View ribbon when the file is open in the editor:
