Can't import TM into new translation

Question

Hi there, for some reason when I select a TM to be imported into a new translation it does not appear when I open the file. 
 Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ok, so you are just having problems "adding" a TM to your projects. You would normally press next after adding your TMs, so why can't you do this? Are you getting any messages at this point? Can you tell us exactly what you are doing and what happens?

Ok, now we're getting somewhere. So the TM has been added, and you can see the results. You are just having problems getting it to automatically populate your target segments. Do you have more than one TM in your Project Settings, or maybe a Machine Translation provider there too? If you do then move your TM, the one with the translations you did today, to the top of your list and disable the others. Now run the Pre-translate batch task again. Does this help?

ok - perhaps just one thing then. You said this earlier: 
 
"There are 100% matches (I am a translating a text based on a previous translation I did today) yet the TM is not populating the cells." 
 
I assumed this meant you could see the results in the TM window and this is how you knew they were 100%. But now I'm thinking you just "know" they are in there because you translated the file earlier today. This makes me think you used a project TM before and now you are adding your Main TM to your new Project and this won't contain your 100% matches as they are still in your Project TM. So you'd have to run the update Main TM batch task to get them in there from the original project. 
 
I'm also wondering why you needed to create a new project if you translated the file earlier today? Don't you still have the original project? What did you have to create a new project for?
