XML file: Segmentation within a sentence caused by "bold" tags

Question

Hi everyone, 
 I hope someone can help me with this problem. I have an XML file, which has been translated many times until now without any segmentation problems. But now - and I can't imagine why - all words tagged as "bold" (and bold only) within a sentence are handled as paragraphs and segmented as new sentences. Here is an example: 
 
 Does anyone know how to solve this?

It looks as though your XML filetype is not seeing the <b> element as an inline tag. So I suggest you check your parser rules and make sure they are correct.

Do you have a custom XML filetype for this file? Or are you using the out of the box AnyXML filetype? You can find more details on how to handle custom XML files here:

Perhaps you can send me your XML file and I can give you a better instruction for this filetype... presumably you know what you are supposed to be translating from within the file? So which elements/attributes for example? If this approach is ok then you can send it to pfilkin@sdl.com

Hopefully you received the settings file and video explaining how to create a filetype for this file? 
 
The solution was basically to create a custom XML filetype using the source file. Didn't mess around with customising the file just imported all the parser rules based on the XML. This gave me access to the elements and I just made the <b> tag inline.
