Studio 2017 Freelance - generating preview and slowing down when moving to another segment

Okay I've read previous topics where Studio slowed down due to slow server or software that connects it to the server.

However my Studio isn't connected to any server, my TMs are on my local computer and I even disconnected my MTs services to see if it helps. No, it didn't. Confirming a segment and moving to the next one takes about 10 seconds with the message "Generating Preview" at the bottom bar being displayed.

Any solutions?

    To quote myself ... have you tried a Windows Repair on Studio and a Studio reset?

    The above page describes how to run a Windows repair on Studio, also how to reset Studio (which will involve losing your custom settings so if you want to keep these then save them via 'File > Setup > Manage User Profiles > Export user settings', then you can go to > Manage User Profiles again and select 'Change user profile' to find the saved settings file. This, so long as it doesn't re-introduce your problem.

    If the above doesn't speed things up, try uninstalling & reinstalling Studio... again, you'll lose your settings but can export and re-import them as above.

    Also, have you seen all the suggestions in this thread...
