Sending data to SDL Support has a 10MB limit

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this,
but I cannot send my example data to SDL Support because there is a 10MB limit...
In this day and age I find 10MB to be quite low (I have single SDLXLIFF files that reach 10MB...)

  • Hi ,

I guess you've sorted this by now?

I asked the support team about this problem and this is a problem they are aware of. We use Salesforce for our support system these days and every byte we use comes under discussion so the restrictions are imposed at the moment and we have to work around them.

If you have files that exceed 10Mb, you can still log the case, specify you have large files and the support team will provide you with an FTP site where you can upload the relevant documents. Each Support Engineer has an FTP set-up, so the environment is secure and the data is removed from that location after they have received it.

Alternatively stick the files on dropbox and send a link... or similar as I'm sure you already do!

    Regards

    Paul
