Characters' lenght in a segment

Hi! I need to check the carachers' lenght of some segments while I am translating in Studio 2017. Is there a quick way to do it directly in Trados ? Tx!!!!

 There are all sorts of ways to do this. The quick way is visual, so just read the number from the figures in the bottom right of your screen when the file is open in the editor: 
 
 Can be a little unreliable at times as it sometimes goes awry with a lot of splitting/merging of segments... but not always! 
 Or, you can use an AutoHotkey script to do this with selected text:

 And depending on your filetype you can even do it with different lengths per segment... for example in XML filetypes:
