Image disappearing from MS Word documents

Dear, 
 I'm more and more facing issue with collaborators (freelancers or colleagues) that clean MS Word documents from an SDLXLIFF file and loose all images. When I clean the files on my PC, there is no issue but I'm not changing anything to the file. Is this a know issue? My version of Studio is 2015 SR3 12.3.5281.10.Thanks a lot in advance.

No, this is not a known issue. Are the sdlxliff files you clean up the same as the ones that your collaborators clean? Have you ever been able to reproduce this at all? Are you collaborators using the same version or newer as you?
