I have a problem with the typing speed in my Trados 2017. Over the recent days, I noticed that the letters don't appear at the same time as I type them but with a short time delay. The delay is just long enough that when I type a letter and realize I've typed the wrong one (which doesn't take me years), the program doesn't register right away that I'm pressing Backspace and the word gets all entangled. When I press and hold the Delete button to delete the untranslated portion of the segment (when the source text is copied to target text field), the text doesn't delete itself disappearing letter by letter - it is just stuck in place until I let go of the Delete button, and then I can see up to where the text is deleted (and I often find out it deleted too much of the text and I have to go back).

Would any of you happen to know why this happens?

I thought of simply opening and closing Trados but seeing that it has been happening for a couple of days now, it didn't do much to help the issue. I did notice that the issue related to the Delete button only persists in segments that are longer than one line - if I have a one-line segment to translate, the Delete button works just fine.

I should also mention that this doesn't happen in any other text program I use, like Word, and that I don't have that problem here, either, as I'm typing this.
