"File could not be found"

Question

New project. When I save a target, I have to wait some 20 seconds and then this message is shown (Swedish): Det g&aring;r inte att hitta filen (The file could not be found). I have no idea what file. Removing all TMs is no help. Neither is clicking on Knowledge base or Community in the error message (nothing relevant in either place). 
 I've tried other projects as well (that I have been working on previously without problems): same result. 
 Need help urgently.

Are you able to provide the error stack please? 
 
As everything was working previously, I am wondering if this may be related to a missing (temp) file or something similar. 
Have you tried doing a Studio reset (under admin rights)?

Thanks for the update. Glad things work again now. 
Indeed- a reinstall is not the same as a reset. 
If there is some type of corruption, then a reinstall just replicates that issue again.

Do you leave the PC on for extended periods without closing Studio properly? 
If so, the AntiVirus could be deleting the temp files. 
 
Can you do another reset and then add Studio to your AntiVirus 'white list' please- 
Just Google the method for your particular provider- then close down Studio and reboot the system. 
Now try a test project and see if you have the same issue again or if this is resolved.
