Dictionary words priority

Hi to all,
Im adding a whole sentence in one dictionary and i noticed that the words or group of words that compose the whole sentence are being chosen first rather than the whole sentence itself in case they are already in the dictionary. is this correct? Can we change it?

I don't really understand your question. Can you explain a little more and perhaps use images to elaborate?

Paul I think he means terms added to a termbase. If so, Paulo Correia , for both your longer phrases and the individual words in your termbase to be recognized, go to Termbase Search settings and check the box that says "Allow overlapping terms".
