Adding an existing translation to Trados Translation Memory

Hi, 
 I have a large project that is very similar to one I've translated back in 2016. Unfortunately, I didn't work on Trados back then, so I don't have the translation in my Trados TM. Looking for similar chunks of text in the old translation and copying them by hand to my new one doesn't sound like a lot of fun, so is there any way to add the 2016 source text to Trados and have the project automatically filled up with the 2016 translation, so that Trados adds it to my TM (I still have both files on my computer)? And if not, is there any way Trados can help me to copy the similarities from my old translation to the new one?

Did you use any other CAT tool back then? If yes, you should have some sort of either bilingual content, or a TM... which you should be able to (convert and) import to Studio TM. The exact process of course depends heavily on what exactly you have available.
