Unable to export translated table content in a .mif file.

So I had the issue of having neon green text showing up at the start of the project (all table cells) and resolved it by following the steps provided here: https://por.proz.com/forum/sdl_trados_support/222055-text_color.html?print=1 (Went to Tools-Options-Editor and then change the Formatting Display Style to show all tags but do not show formatting.)

All of that text was translated, but when my DTP team opens the exported .mif file, none of the table cell content is showing up in FrameMaker. I can't find any posts that describe an issue with exporting table cell content, so I'm a little lost as to what the cause could be. Any ideas on what could help resolve the issue? I'm using Trados Studio 2017.

EDIT: We resolved the issue by redoing the original .mif files without conditional formatting and pretranslated the files using a project TM using the xliffs send over by the translators. This caused for segmentation to not be as clean, so I would still be curious to know if anyone has found a better DTP or Trados process on the front end to allow for conditional formatting without issues.
