Thanks for your reply Paul, in the meantime I was contacted by SDL Support, who suggested changing the Word filters in the Options/File Types, now I get a different error message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. SDL are still working on this. Attached is the error stack

Hi Paul, thanks a lot for the suggestion. I disabled my own TM and tried running the task just with a separate Groupshare TM (for this same customer) and it worked perfectly. That would then explain why my colleagues had no problems processing this same file. Now I just need to sort out my corrupted TM...
Incidentally, I had the same initial error message ("an error occurred inserting the translation into the document") with a different .docx file previously; that was fixed by changing the "File Types" settings (deactivating the Microsoft Office 79-2003 filter and moving the Microsoft Office Word 2007-2016 filter to the top of the Word filters, using the "move Up/Move Down' buttons). But I was intrigued as I'd not found that error message on any forum anywhere!
